Best Western Plus, Clearwater, BC
Opened in 2021, the Best Western Plus in Clearwater, BC is AAA 3-Diamond type hotel situated at the southern tip of spectacular Wells Gray Provincial Park. The hotel serves tourists from across Canada and around the globe, as well as business travellers connected to the vibrant local resource and agricultural sectors.
Best Western required an IT partner who could handle everything from basic telecom such as phones and TV, to ensuring guests had seamless WiFi, and that the hotel had a comprehensive security system. They also needed a vendor who could work to the rigorous standards required of Best Western Plus. These include frictionless access to key amenities such as the business centre and gym.

General Manager, AJ, selected 5D Network because of our expertise and ability to handle every aspect of his IT needs starting from installation of hardware and setting up internet services. The 5D team spent about 30 days on site installing and testing all of the equipment and connections. 5D had to work closely with Best Westerns IT provider and local internet providers and staff to design and install the phone and internet system, a central server, and the security system including the key card system. All tailored to meet the guidelines Best Western Plus. 5D serviced the hotel with flat rates on the 1800 number. Now that the hotel is operating, 5D continues to provide IT support service to ensure all the systems are working optimally.
