Fred Munn

In 2008, Mr. Munn transitioned from a seasoned Retail and Commercial Banker to a Venture Capitalist, Business Management and Corporate Governance professional with over 30 years of experience.  He has a proud history of stepping into struggling businesses applying his business management and governance protocols to stabilize and position these businesses for growth.  His leadership and ability to gauge and assess situations and deploy strategic solutions have benefitted many companies.

As a graduate from the Institute of Corporate Directors – Rotmans Directors Education Program, Mr. Munn applies his Directorship and Corporate Governance skills.

In April 2014, he was appointed to the Board of Directors of Uniserve Communications Corp USS-X.

In April 2017, Mr. Munn joined the National Board of Directors for CANASA – The Canadian Security Association (www.canasa.org).  Established in 1977, CANASA advocates, educates, and provides leadership to its members across Canada in a self-regulated environment of Canadian security professionals.

In January 2019, Mr. Munn was appointed as Director and Officer with Pure Life Carbon Inc, a privately owned agricultural-technology business, which empowers multiple industries with sustainable, disruptive, and environmentally responsible technologies and products. Pure Life Carbon Inc. was established with the objective of being an industry-leading producer of premium carbon-based technologies.

Finally, Fred, along with his wife, also own Charity Solutions Inc. (2008), an organization dedicated to assisting charities and non-profit organizations across Western Canada. (www.charitysolutions.ca).
